One thing I have to say about ALL of Lauren Dane's books is I LOVE her sense of family, the way they all interact, BUT MOST OF ALL I LOVE that her books are super sexy and erotic, but they have H/h who love kink and also have family values =)
Nathan is such a sweet, sexy Alpha. He knows he hurt Lily years ago and regrets it. Upon seeing her for the first time in years he realizes he is still in love with her and makes up his mind to win Lilly back and has no qualms using all his Murphy siblings and the Chase brothers and their wives. Lilly is trying to save her 15 year old brother from going down the wrong path, her mother from falling into an even deeper state of depression and alcoholism, deal with her dad who left her mother for "teenage barbie" and Nancy, Lilly's evil, jealous petty sister. Add to that stress is the fact that Nathan refuses to let her ignore him and their chemistry, which means she has to deal with the hurt and heartbreak he inflicted on her years ago.
Nathan's pursuit and determination to win Lilly back is one of the hottest "wooing" stories I've read in a while, maybe the hottest contemporary "non-erotic" story I've read ever.
I enjoyed seeing the couples and Polly and Edward from Lauren Dane's, Chase Brothers series. I love Petal GA....hmmm wondering if there are any jobs there ;-)
Note: I wouldn't say you have to read the Chase Brothers' series first, but to get a full understanding of the secondary characters in the Petal GA series, you will want to read it if not before, then after you read Once and Again.
